About PeeringMap

PeeringMap puts the Internet's meeting places on a map: the colocation facilities where networks house their routers, the Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) where they peer, and the networks present at each. Use it to see who is where, find an exchange near a data center, or look up where an AS number is present.

Data

All data comes from PeeringDB, the freely available, user-maintained database of networks, exchanges and facilities. PeeringMap keeps a copy and refreshes it every day; the copy currently holds 5,862 facilities, 1,320 exchange points and 35,176 networks across 169 countries, last refreshed 14 hours ago.

Something wrong or missing? The fix belongs in PeeringDB: every page links to the matching PeeringDB record, and corrections made there show up here on the next refresh.

Map

Maps are rendered with MapLibre GL using vector tiles from OpenFreeMap, built from OpenStreetMap data. Facility positions are the coordinates PeeringDB holds for them; an exchange point is drawn at the centre of the facilities it is present in.
